In a recent job in Claremont, NH, the homeowner had hired an insulation company to insulate their attic a few weeks ago. The "experienced contractor" decided that because there were no soffit vents, that they would fill the soffit areas with blown insulation. This of course created a major ventilation and moisture problem which caused mold to grow in the attic! Remember, it only takes about 24-48 hours for mold to form.
